I, Anita Schedin, is born in Skellefteå 1955 and have lived in Stockholm since 1976. Painting and art have always been a part of my life. As a little girl I was fantasizing about the paintings hanging on the walls at home. I imagined that the persons at the paintings were real and spoke to me. Since color, shape and painting always been important for me I always have dreamt about being an artist. The dream came true 11 years ago and make it makes me very well-being. The painting become brisk after I finished art courses in 2008 - today painting is my lifeblood. I paint without any rules or needs and I rely on my feeling and intuition. My favorit motif is women who moves. I paint big paintings in strong colors in both oil and acrylic. The start never tells the end... Earlier it has been hard to show my paintings but after I took the step and had my first exhibition in May 2009 it feels better and better. I was unprepared of the enormous enthusiasm and interest people showed me and my paintings. It gave me a lot of new inspiration to draw and to display my art. I hope my paintings transmit the happiness I feel when I paint! Hopefully my drawings will create feelings in the eye of the viewer and make room for your own interpretations.
